Every year on May 12, mathematicians across the world celebrate the International Women in Mathematics Day. To mark this date and showcase the excellent work done by female researchers in all areas of theoretical and applied mathematics, an international conference celebrating women in mathematical sciences will be held on May 8-9 at Aalborg University. There will be six plenary speakers and a number of shorter contributed talks. A conference dinner and a poster session will be organized on the evening of May 8. The conference is open to all staff and students from Danish and international universities. Participation is free of charge.
