Stochastic partial differential equations on fractals and metric measure spaces

Applications are invited for a PhD fellowship/scholarship at Graduate School of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University, Denmark, within the Mathematics programme.

The position is available from May 2025 with a preferred start date of August 1, 2025. 

Research area and project description:

This project is concerned with the study of stochastic partial differential equations in rough structures including fractals, the aim being to quantify the interaction between geometric and random environment for a rich class of models.

We seek applicants with a strong background in analysis and probability.

Qualifications and specifics:

Applicants must have a relevant Master’s degree in mathematics with specialization toward probability or analysis.
